david michael clarke : images
British artist [born 1969] Poole, England.
Clarke studied at Glasgow School of Art and played an active part in the Glasgow art scene during the 1990's.
In 1996, Clarke was awarded the Richard Hough Bursary for his rapid-fire slideshows, which combined a unique commentary with a mix of images from the public arena and his personal life.
Now living and working Nantes, France, Clarke continues to explore the difficult subjects of honesty and sincerity in modern life and art.
